Even with a 400 bhp Alfa 159, it still won't sell out here... So unreliable, jerky selespeed, breaks down all the time, 3 big lights instead of other's 1 or 2, high consumption, bonnet so long, car plate must put on the side instead of centre... ... Most in the target crowd would still buy a 320 [rolleyes]

Likewise, you don't see a lot of Focus ST as well...

alfa is abandoning the so call 'unreliable , jerky and breaks down all the time ' selespeed system and opt fora unit from aisin .Probably a twin clutch thingy .

the 1.8 Di Turbo Jet will be hooked up to a 6-speed manual gearbox or to an optional 6-speed, sequential, automatic transmission from Aisin.

i DON'T really mind if I'm given a ST .Really ..

Neutral Newbie

was at e launch. 1st impression of e car looks like a FL grande punto. 2nd impression looks like bit & pcs of a bravo. kinda side that mito is not a pc of art & all the 8c hoo-hahs r just marketing gimmicks.

and frankly w all TC engine line-ups, lowered compression... guess 2 decades time, gonna miss reving to red line

only Manual...

Lauched price $73,800

Retail price with coe $88,356

OMV haven't ask

Launched price is OTR price ? Including COE etc etc ?

That's very attractive pricing, if I haven't got my Bravo, I will buy it.

Since it is using the 1.4 T-Jet, can do a ecu remap to get 185hp and 260Nm out of the engine !

After looking at the car yesterday, i still prefer Bravo.

Maybe after my test drive i will comment more about it.

Some parts like engine bay design/layout are almost carbon copy of Bravo.

The dash seems to use the same kind of material as the Bravo.

But I think it does have an edge over the Bravo in terms of the electronic handling aids as it comes with DNA.
