Is it worth installing

I got a bunch of ICE stuff lying in my storeroom. Now thinking of fixing it up but I believe it's kinda old stuff.

Components speakers are from Cerwin Vega, HED-1602A, 4 ch amp by Rockford, model A400 (I think) and an 8 inch JBL base tube. Both amp and tube were given to me by a friend and components are from my previous car.

Just wondering if it is worth installing them in my current ride? Any gurus can advise how is this setup? I'm not so crazy into ICE but looking for something decent over what is offered buy the factory which is an Alphine HU, CDA9883E and stock speakers.

Thanks and looking forward to some advise.

anything over stock is considered decent enuff as long as u not the discerning type.

for 8" basetube, it usually fits a small hatch. any sedan wud need a single voice coil 12" with a matching amp (matching means = or > r.m.s. rating)

Cerwin Vega, HED-1602A = rms 50W max 100W rated 90db/SPL

Rockford, model A400 ...???? not a T or P series.

but the Cerwin Vega can b directly driven fr ur HU if u want (Alpine CDA-9883E. 50W x 4 High Power Amplifier; MP3/WMA Playback (ID3 Tag); 3 RCA pre-outs)

ur basstube a tad small to need 4 channel amp, assuming they r bridged.

go find out the rms rating of the amp/

1/2 the value and find a suitable basstube. 8" boh kick.

Alpine CDA-9883E. 50W x 4 High Power Amplifier - please take note that the 50w x 4 is max outpur. When you take rms, it's probably around 22-25w rms. Can still drive the Cerwin Vega, but don't expect impressive results. If the speakers are 92db/SPL and above, it would be more ideal.
