Mobile Speed Camera on Bridges

I was travelling down Lentor towards Ang Mo Kio when I noticed a speed camera deployed on the pedestrian overhead bridge just outside bullion park.

The warden was about 2 meters away from the camera, looks like he is stretching himself abit and not physically manning the camera. In the past, I always see the warden physically looking thru the camera when operating it.

I was doing 120km/h about 400 meters away before I spotted the camera and braked to slow down to around 80km/h.

Do I get zapped?

Btw, I'll be checking the TP's website and keep u guys updated on the outcome for information's sake.

I passed there today at 9am. Saw a TP at the road shoulder. was driving at 90km/hr on extreme right lane. There were 2 cars in the middle lane.

Supersonic

Might be some surveying equipment.

They are always put on tripod. I think there are lots of construction going on there.

That stretch of road is a very popular lot for mobile TP camera.

Always keep to road speed limits for all roads. Then u have a peace of mind driving to and fro from destination to destination.

Chinese has a saying: Don't get upset or can't get along with your money.

You can put it to other better or worth use.

damn, nowadays listen to class95, there are so many "cop on top". petrol price go down, catching go up. i'd rather they chase reckless drivers on the road and bring them to justice. but sadly, tis hardly happened in sg.

hmmm....u kenna flash at 85km/h?

I always travel inside the KPE tunnel at 80 to close to the 90 mark inside KPE...definitely nvr below the 80 mark...and i travel there quite often.

The spd limit is 70....travelling at 90 is cfm speeding ticket issued....if u say u travel at 85...u may only get a warning letter....

But u sure u are travelling at 85? our speedo dun actually show the exact spd we are travelling...

I must admit, sometimes when the road is totally clear in the wee hours....

I prefer to stay in the 3rd lane and drive relaxly.. enjoying the drive....

It's during the day.. when everything is so rush... everyone is in a rush..

hoping for no jam so as to go a little faster...

then all of us tends to speed alittle..

jus my thoughts.. [;)]

[sweatdrop] Yep bro I am staying near there. Those jokers come out from the wood work at 9 to 11am ,then sometimes at 1 to 3 pm.

Truth be told " they are actually putting more modular cameras up by this year.

Should get the "VALENTINE" or "PASSPORT" !! [furious][furious]
