WTF! 1 Point Per Litre (Caltex)

Just come to realized that Caltex now giving 1 point per litre of petrol pumped.

No wonder I am getting a lot less points now than before.

I've been on Caltex for years but now I am going to switch.

 

For comparison sake;

Caltex 1 pt per litre

1200 pts for $40 petrol voucher

 

Esso 1 pt per $1.25 spent

750 pts for $30 instant petrol redemption

 

Quite obvious which one better value.

well thats the reason i switch to esso. used to be on shell. same as caltec, 1pt/L

 

and most importantly they dont initiate price increase...

Caltex started 1 pt for 1L since 1 Aug.....joining Shell.

I doubt Esso will hold its 1 pt for $1.25 very long.

How to scr*w Singapore drivers...

 

Step 1: Increase petrol price a lot...

Step 2: Decrease a bit...

Step 3: Change Reward from 1pt for $1 to 1 pt / liter

Step 4: Increase the points required to redeem anything

Step 5: Reduce the discounts

 

Repeat Step 1 to 5. Slowly increase to 1 pt / 10 liter for Step 3.
