Budget car rental

anyone known of any reliable budget car rental? need to rent for 2 wks to a month.. only willing to pay for not more than $50 a day.

 

any good recommendations?

flip the papers for classified ads.

COE cars are nt expensive to rent. whether its reliable not..

for normal driving its ok, but if u wan it to trave up north, hen hafta think again.

if it breaks down on SG, just call the company and they will settle it.

 

one thing is that most of these COE car is covered by 3rd partyinsurance, if u suay suay accident or wadever, be prepared to compensate the whole car.

seriously if u paying 400 a mth just ki siao i tink u can consider buy a small ride like kelisa or qq.

wun cost more than tat. moreover wat u wan is just a ride wif aircon can liao rite

no offence if you call people up with your offer, they will ask you to fly kite. insurance and road tax is already $150 a month, add in tyres engine oil maintenance, it already adds up to $250. $150 can't even cover their installment.

Be careful that you rent from a reputable company.

 

There are a lot of cheap illegal car rental scheme around. Some motorists are putting up their private cars to rental companies for rental and this is illegal and not approved by LTA. These cars are not covered by insurance. If you get into accident in one of these cars, you will be in big trouble with the law.

Do rental cars and private cars have different tax disc?? Read about in another forum but never seen it before.

Just bear in mind there are alot of illegal rentals and you won't be covered by insurance.
