yep. According to Mindef doctorine, regardless of NSF or Reg status. As long as you are not married, you have to stay in camp. However, If you are married and have a family, You do not need to stay in unless you are on exercise or on regimental duty. For this guy's case, most likely, after bmt phase, he will be allowed to stay out in order to spend time with his family.

A friend of mine married a woman who is 7 years older than him. He's 24 when he got married. Now, at 26, he is suffering from the marriage due wife being quite controlling (according to him only). He would have divorced if not because of his 1 yr old kid.

 

It's ur fren's wife tt is controlling, not e gap age. Any man cld marry any woman at any age gap, whether older or younger than him, to be a controlling wife. IMO. N most married women r controlling animals.

 

Have many guy frens, their wives whether same age, younger by 1-5 yrs old, or older by few yrs old...most r controlling...

Actually hor.... I would choose a late 30s dance teacher over 80% of our early 20s gals. Dance teachers will have bodies well maintained to compete the 20s. And being from that era, they are capable of being a woman more as compared to the gals these days.

 

Perhaps 20s not too experienced yet. Actually dance teacher i will prefer those from england. Lately saw those taiwan dancers, i wonder where they invented their dance! Sorry OT....

 

I wonder will the boy later dance with another partner. Because his wife will be busy taking care of the child and no time no energy for dance. Then? Another relationship? No matter what the woman is on losing end... unless the guy is a rare species.

Well said!!! It's the trust n self-constraint issue...not e age gap issue. Seen so many guy frens having affairs even their wives r same age or 2 yrs younger than them. If one wants to chiong, he can chiong from 15yrs old till 50yrs old still not enuff. If one can control n be faithful, even till 50yrs, he still does not feel there's a nid to chiong.

last yr, i had a medic in my unit who had a newborn child. He is 1yr younger than me.

 

he went AWOL for quite some time, until we had to write letter to his wife. When he RTU, he was charged and got away with 7 or 14 days SOL. Presumably on humane reason.

SAF do have a humane side. Many things are judged case by case.

 

Just during my last ICT, one of my platoon guy got ROM within his ICT(I don't know why the hell did he do that ). My unit gave him 2 days off and on top of that, a $300 ang pow as appreciation for his dedication to the nation even during this period of time

I seriously find office ladies in their late 20s to early 30s very attractive for some reason...and yes, I don't mind having one of them as my gf as compared to those early 20s.
