well.. there are certain types of COE car which still prowl the roads. certain cars u seldom see just 5 yrs after the car is no longer being sold new.

 

i see starlets now and then on the roads [;)]. swift gti less so but i still see a couple occasionally [sly][thumbsup][thumbsup]

 

back when i was young and the swift gti was just launched, i told myself that was the car i wanted (cos not too ex and decent performance and i liked the look). but later on i realised that by the time i would be able to drive, the gtis would be more than 10 yrs old liao [bigcry]

 

back to the topic, i wonder how long china cars will last on the roads in SG. or even in other countries where pple drive the cars until they cannot move anymore [rolleyes]

If not for a motor bike we could have hit 180!

at 110 sound that is when the boost gage shows 0.5bar the ADM has kicked in, Even the air conditioner was switched off by a controller unit made by ADM also for more power.

 

 

 

 

I use the original electronic turbo-jet in the 90's also same as ur adm.

Also brought from same company.It wont give u that much bhp increase la!But pick-up is abit better that is no doubt.

Most 1.6cc car able to hit 180km/hr la,bro!It is only how fast it can hit that speed.

Maybe u should post another video to show me that is able to hit & how FAST it can hit 180Km/hr & not just assume.Of cos u dont try here la!Try in NSE!

Thanks for confirming the power of ADM.

There are many friends who sat in my 168 was also keen to see the results as I did 0-100Kilometres in under 11 seconds. That is an amazing record, the take off was also powerful that it screeched the tyres and mind you the floor was dry!

But due to petrol price I am not boosting too much keeping it under 0.1 bar.

One day I hope to try out a WRX with TD04 on a friendly at OG track which used to be my playground.

mm, what the video measured: the wind speed and current drawn has nothing to do with increasing the hp of an engine.

 

All it does, is it shows you the performance of the fan. [;)]

 

You do not know that the air generated is the main source of Force induction into the intake of the engine? how the fan performs will cause the same effect of turbocharing or supercharging the car.

Since I just started racing at OG in the 2000's I don't think I have seen you because nowadays Old cars are seen as an outcast. No offence to your car. But I wonder have you ever raced with that Swift COE car? Maybe in the early 80's? Just curious

thought you said this is your first car and your first car is already brand new. So back in 2000s, you rented car or borrow other people's car to race? May I know what car is it cos i'm interested in OG too.

 

I want to know what gear I should be in if I want to negotiate the hairpin on number 7 bend, can share? if not convenient can just pm me. thanks!

 

i'm really super interested so would like to hear your own answers based on your experience. I'm sure the other newbies who have sub-standard cars like mine will want to know. cheers.

Quick... we must tell HKS, Greddy, etc all those performance parts companies that they're idiots... all those turbocharger kits costing thousands of dollars.. can take and throw. Just put a fan in the intake system can liao. [laugh]

 

Oh yes, here's another idea. Want CAI? Take an aircon hose and route it to the intake system too! [laugh]

 

I shall now go burn my 17 year old car in shame for not comprehending all this crap flying around. [:/][blush]

lol~ using aircon to cool CAI.. now why didn't anyone think about it?

Next time want free aircon in the house, just open the fridge door n tape the switch down.

Since the fridge has to be on anyway. [laugh]

0-100km/h in 11sec is so-so only la!A lot of manual car can do that even without ADM.

If without ADM,how fast is ur 0-100km/h timing?

I m more interested in your 100-180km/hr timing with ADM.If u have a chance to run these speed,pls rem to post a video here.Pls dont take the video yourself,ask ur friend to do it.

One more thing,every now & then rem to check ur ADM.Confirm the fan dont get loose or u will regret.

Turbo chargers are good but ADM is also good. Sort of same purpose different technology. You seem like a new driver
