PG outing

Yes, I agree with you on that point about affordability, but as I said, there's those unregistered stripped out track prepared Sagas that are often driven quite fast and on the ragged edge. I get the impression that a few dents in the bodywork don't matter for the drivers/owners.

Frankly if I had a beater track car I would also be more inclined to push my limits a little.

i kinda agree, its quite painful when u bring in ur new car with nice paintwork on the track...its bound to have stone chips on the track especially when ure near behind someone and trying to overtake...

I never wanted to do CCT despite being encouraged to do it by Syed the track manager guy. But he goes around to get everyone to take part anyway. Too many cars, too little racing experience, and too much egos especially when arriving at the first corner.

Throw a few cheap as chips track prepared Sagas into the mix with nothing to lose, against your comparatively expensive and pristine Singapore car, and you will always be on the losing end anytime there is body contact.

Remember that you most likely have to drive your car back across the border back to Singapore if it needs any kind of assistance or attention.

If I wanted to play at being a racing driver I'd rather do it on go-karts.

I beg to differ from you.

If you talk to those Sagas, you will know what kind of back ground they come from. Despite their Sagas being "cheaper" than our cars, I believe to some of them, the "sagas" are much more precious to them than our cars to us.

But i do agree on the driving back to SG though. Main aim of track sessions, must always make it back in one piece.

Dec 21st anyone?

Used to organize but some incidents left me feeling very unappreciated.

I will be going with a group of frds abt 11am from West Coast Mac,

I wont organize, but if anyone happens to be there, we can travel together.

thank you.

Well, diff pple have cars for diff reasons.

Im lucky to be able to own my own car and to use it fully for my own passion.

I gave up a lot of comfort and streetability.

Im sure others wish to do the same but maybe due to family or job commitments, they cant go the extra mile im going.
