First of all, let me say tks to all the brothers who came down. Its honestly a fun filled and dramatic day on the track.

We went in through tuas and the jam wasnt that bad; 45 mins i reckon.

In total we had like 20 cars and over. rx7, rx8, evos, sti, rex, mrs, s15, s14, 350z, jazz, type r, chevolets etc.

So as u can see, the line up was awesome. The day started pretty wet but the clouds had mercy on us. It cleared up soon after.

And tks to the slight drizzle, my car was able to "drift" a couple of times at turn 7. Wootie, fresh marks on the track.

The first 2 hrs, we took turns trying the track, many were trying to better their previous timing. The last hr was truely epic.

The organiser arranged a 5 laps CCT, NA first and Turbo after. Closed to 15 cars lined up on the grid, and whew, it was fun, andrenaline rushing. It was a close fight between the 2 type r, myself and a johor daihatsu "turbo".

The turbo cat ended at the first lap, with rx7 crashing, the driver was alright, tks goodness.

So all in all, tks for everything.

its not really wet.

I think its due more to the 10 turbo cars reving and trying to outdo each other. Most of them have 300-400 bhp easily.

Their timing is definately 2 mins and below. most likely 1.55.

I never wanted to do CCT despite being encouraged to do it by Syed the track manager guy. But he goes around to get everyone to take part anyway. Too many cars, too little racing experience, and too much egos especially when arriving at the first corner.

Throw a few cheap as chips track prepared Sagas into the mix with nothing to lose, against your comparatively expensive and pristine Singapore car, and you will always be on the losing end anytime there is body contact.

Remember that you most likely have to drive your car back across the border back to Singapore if it needs any kind of assistance or attention.

If I wanted to play at being a racing driver I'd rather do it on go-karts.

We were pretty fortunate only 1 johor registered car joined us in the CCT. End of the day, all the bros know that its not a competition with million bucks rewards at the end. Just like yesterday, when i was catching up to another bro on the track, he saw me comin, on his hazard light and move to the side.

This is the spirit.

Please don't misunderstand. I'm not saying Malaysia-registered cars are more dangerous on the track. While they for a fact have less to lose, those that I do see on the track are usually quite experienced and skillful also.

So that's just one factor. Let's not ignore the lack of racing experience and egos as can be expected of a mixed "run what you brung" field of casual drivers.

In fact, over the past half a dozen track sessions I've been to, all the accidents I've witnessed or seen the aftermath of, involve Singaporean cars, but usually Singapore cars are the majority at these weekend track days.

I think Malaysian cars are not cheap... relatively of course. You earn S$5k a month, they earn RM5k a month. But the car is still 60-70k. So a dollar for a dollar. Malaysian registered car in the hands of a Singaporean, yes it may be cheap, relatively. But you dont do that just for an open track day right? I doubt any Malaysian car will have "nothin to lose" and drives ard in that attitude.
