Privately settle lo. That time i kena the same thing as u, both parties decided to settle privately

 

Aiyah.. I don know.. [confused]

First thing that come to my mind was claim insurance..

Another thing is that his butt quite serious..

I thought the other party has up to six years to file a claim? If that's the case, wouldn't the insurance company hold the NCD for six years too? Someone pls clarify..

yes... property claims have up to 6 years. Insurers have to review their files constantly and 2 years is usually the holding period. If no claim after 2 years, insurers can review the NCD on case-by-case basis. However, if the claim comes in on 2 years & 1 day, the NCD will be forfeited & insurers will claw back the refund premium (if any)
