Lillight Neutral Newbie June 19, 2002 Share June 19, 2002 Hey the Mintex brake pads really produce far less dust than the stock pads. Yay!!! and thank goodness for that - my fingernails still show trace evidence of cleaning the wheels on Saturday . TB, so sorry you had to work on them when they were still so black. Quite horrific. No more stock pads for me! [tongue] Was about to ask Sean about that [tongue] Good eh? Ya boy, even now, still quite shiny. except i inflicted quite a deep (albeit small) scratch in the rear right rim when pulling away from the pump and turning at the same time. very painful. sean is NOT PLEASED and i've had to promise never to do that again. Ey, I also remember seeing my dad's car left front hubcap rolling away in the rear view mirror when I clipped the curb while driving his car, many years ago... had to pullover and run and get it back! He still doesn't know , but that car's just been scrapped... [angelic] ↡ Advertisement

GDIzen Neutral Newbie June 21, 2002 Share June 21, 2002 Sorry but I meant to ask E46RadX about the Mintex pads. I bought the RED BOX series and have yet to fit them. I've trying to get something more dust free than the stock pads that make you wash your wheels every 2 days :(
