Tedyruby Neutral Newbie December 3, 2008 Share December 3, 2008 It's the same as any normal vehicles. Just take a look at our public buses, taxis the base color for the front is white and yellow for the rear.
Jazz 2nd Gear December 3, 2008 Share December 3, 2008 Common is back, saw quite a number is white and yellow, red is for OPC.
Beng2 5th Gear December 3, 2008 Share December 3, 2008 It's for normal cars. Some ADs, like Mazda, give out these type of plates. These plates should be more expensive than the black ones, I reckon. As they are reflective, they are supposed to be safer as they make your car more visible. When using such plates, make sure the rear plate has yellow background while the front plate has white background - as required by LTA.
Ronkovic 5th Gear December 4, 2008 Share December 4, 2008 The Yellow/White Plate Combination's a normal plate. This colour scheme is a legacy inherited from our British Colonial past. Registration plates in Britain these days still follow the Yellow/White combo.

Bluepica 4th Gear December 4, 2008 Share December 4, 2008 I have seen some car using both white for front n back! reason being... their car is white!
Ronkovic 5th Gear December 4, 2008 Share December 4, 2008 I think some people do that just for "colour co-ordination" as you said, especially those with white car. Some others I know who own Conti-rides, do their plates up European style and do both white for front and back. Think nowadays the most neutral plate colour combo is still black front black rear.
