One reason why they may not want to CF the whole car may be weight distribution. Using CF at certain places, e.g. the bonnet, flenders, will lighten the front a little, which pushes a bit more weight distribution to the rear. This helps the car to turn in a little easier, but at the cost of making it a bit harder to control.

Having CF on the roof would lower the center of gravity, which can be good for overall stability. However, putting CF everywhere would make the car overall lighter, but not affecting the weight distribution much, which may not be the desired outcome.

No problems at all. I half suspect the emergence of highly tuned cars like Type RR, is not so much to sell the highly tuned and overpriced Civics, but more to build a cult following for this model, and then to keep it alive as long as possible. At the end of the day, it's still the bread and butter FD1 and FD2 that pays the bills.

Is it worth the dollar? For Honda yes, as it keeps the product life cycle as long as possible, so the money put into building the hype is money well spent. For consumers? Unless one is a Civic fanatic, otherwise anything also can be potentially a better deal. For a Civic owner, I'm only happy the basic Civic looks is still not out of style yet, and there are many many options available to "zhng" my car to look like a Type RR.

That's very enlightening answer, thanks a lot.
