Cicj Clutched September 26, 2011 Share September 26, 2011 Over here, 250 xv can have a sunroof as an option with added money. Luminto, is your teana still under warranty? Asked to speak to a "Factory Technician". Every dealer usually has 1 factory technician and 10-20 other mechanics. Speak to him as he will be able to make a better decision as to what to replaced. ↡ Advertisement

Poison1 Neutral Newbie October 4, 2011 Share October 4, 2011 Hi Guys, I am starting a facebook page for Teana and Cefiro Owners in Singapore to share ideas and thoughts. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Nissan-Teana...184831511592744
Shanhz 3rd Gear October 4, 2011 Share October 4, 2011 A quick question here. when you guys park your cars. Still in drive, forward forward forward.... hit the brakes. Move shift lever from D to P, let out the brakes. Does sometiimes during the last step, your car move? This is on a flat surface. First car I have that does this. After releasing that final brake from P, the car would "released from the gear" and allow free movement of about 1 inch back and forth. this means you are using gearbox to lock the wheels.. to avoid this: 1) after car stop, shift to N 2) engage foot brake 3) wait until car stop shaking 4) off engine (optional) 5) move from N to P
Ladykillerz 4th Gear October 4, 2011 Share October 4, 2011 guys, for 250xv in SG, it does not come with sunroof. perhaps in other countries but definitely not in SG. cheers.
Ladykillerz 4th Gear October 4, 2011 Share October 4, 2011 guys, is there anyone who ever use/install automatic door lock & automatic mirror retract for teana 250xv? thank you in SG, all teana will be given free automatic mirror retract but not tilt while reversing. as for automatic door lock, just need to send to WS and change the setting from your car alarm system. ER-3682 Supersonic October 6, 2011 Share October 6, 2011 4 pots (not-taiwan) quite ex leh. Brake Calipers are for more braking force, changing disc rotor & pads will NOT really improve braking very much, worse still more noise & dust during braking...anyway Teana not really a fast car,why need better brakes, stocks are enough. Cicj Clutched October 8, 2011 Share October 8, 2011 Shanhz, thanks for the tip. I'll try it out. But I dont quite understand your part 2. Engage foot brake. Since changing the gear you must already be on the brake. If you mean parking brake, personal opinion, dont like to use it when the brakes are still hot as the disc pads will be squeezed on the rotor. Yea brakes no need to change, the stock ones are excellent, firm and powerful braking power. Not like other cards, quite hard to brake. Bumpers definitely and rims should change. Another upgrade is to install more sound dampening/deadening into the car. Although it already has some foam on the bottom side, but the doors and B pillars could use the sound deadening as well. The bottom side they use about 1-2 inches thick poly foam with added weight from the carpet to compress. Then car suuuuuuuuper quiet xD My teana, 6 months old now. The steering wheel, when move left and right, some rubber grinding noise. Wonder what it is, definitely on the instrument panel. Overall great car design and engineering, but not to sure about the quality checks, definitely doesn't pass there. A car can be designed and engineered very well, but if the mechanics dont install it properly and test for quality as it was meant to be, then it's not a great car. >.>

I am beo-ing the teana for my next car. quietness ranks very high on my list. next other option is camry. heard that it's very quiet due to the lessons learnt from lexus. currently driving crv.. super noisy
Shanhz 3rd Gear October 16, 2011 Share October 16, 2011 am looking at teana 2.5 V6. agree that camry on its own is a very competitive car. but comparing 2.4 camry to 2.5 teana, teana has got V6 engine and aircon seats (the only exec class jap car with these features!). not to mention the comfi legrest for passenger. so it's a no brainer. as long as it's as quiet as camry. win hands down. :) ↡ Advertisement
