Kangadrool Supersonic March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 (edited) You mean 2.0L is fuel drinker, whereas 2.5L is not? When engine is too weak for such a big car, of course FC sucks. No surprise. Same issue with Mazda 3, the 1.6 drinks more than 2.0 or rather the 2.0 has the same FC as 1.6 (whichever way you want to see). Why can't Singaporeans just wake up and realise Altis 1.6, Civic 1.6, Mazda 1.6, Teana 2.0, Camry 2.0 just do not have the idea engine mating for that kinda body. Further, you have to take into consideration of the severe driving conditions here - stop/start traffic + MSCP at slow speed on a daily routine. 13177 Supersonic March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 (edited) But i guess many people still buy 2.0L instead of higher cc if there are 2 version available. Mainly due to the road tax that they are paying. As i always heard people saying that those teana, accord or camry, dont buy the 2.0L and buy the higher spec. But still majority people still get the 2.0L. Edited March 5, 2012 by 13177
Kalmath 1st Gear March 5, 2012 Author Share March 5, 2012 Has anyone changed CVT fluid already? How much is required for drain and fill? Owner's manual states 9 qts however workshop says one tin (4L) of Nissan NS-2 is sufficient. Thanks. The CVT fluid lifespan is 100k km. Nissan TC charges $188 for the change,
Admin Clutched March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 Is your pictures taken while doing city driving or are you on 100% highway when the pic was taken? I drive a Teana 2.5 also and for the past 3 years the max I ever hit is 9+ km/l and I do not have a heavy right foot... I can only manage to get your kind of mileage when I am on the NS highway... My 2008 registered Teana is 250XV. Let actual figures captured show you that even Teana 2.5l engine is able to achieve above 12km/l. The images show the FC consecutively after each re-fuel. Ladykillerz 4th Gear March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 The CVT fluid lifespan is 100k km. Nissan TC charges $188 for the change, eh? if i remember correctly, CVT for Teana should change 60k km?

Care to share your views on this car? appreciate all.. =) the problem is, TC bring in 250XV and 350XV with full accessories (sun roof and rear sky roof for 350XV), whereby 200XL is too empty inside and power wise ... hmmm ... as for the cost difference between 200XL and 250XV, seriously, it is not that significant. you know how the V6 engine works when you test drive 250/350XV, it is totally different feel comparing to a normal inline-4 engine.
