the i30 crossover looks like a lengthen Matrix. a bit like Honda Stream from the side.

I dunno whether they will put the concept Ix-onic crossover Link into production. It looks very much like the BMW crossover X6.

so far the paper comparison, seeing the actual car at the showroom and test driving it met my expectation. Now just hoped everything else is alright after getting the car.

It should be. The transmission and engine are both shared with the Avante. The latter has been in production since 2006. Major production issues should be resolved by now.

Looks pretty good and proportionate, wonder any changes to the interior or just exterior cosmetic changes?

Is the spec for the i30 wagon similar to that of the i30 hatch? got ask for more specs? e.g. Forte now comes with auto folding mirrors standard...

for i30 hatch, the standard is : timing chain, auto folding side mirrors, electronic steerling wheel, sunroof, 121hp, detachable radio head, sunglass compartment, 180degree foldable back seat, USB port and aux port for ipod ready

 

for wagon, the difference is power 125hp, built-in radio head, longer boot space. Salesman will give solar film.

 

Given the above, already can't ask for more, also dunno what to ask for.

Hmm... I know the Forte owners ask for alot. They even ask for car mats too. But all in all, I agree with you. The i30W is really value-for-$$, with no worthy competitors at that price.

Ya. Can ask for these too. But salesman shows me a company memo about gifts restrictions by the company.

Moreover, I dun really wan to ask too much from these salesmen la. It comes from their commission.

I had friends sells car too, and it is tough.

 

If I buying expensive car like BMW or lexus sure ask for more, but with a $55K+ car, they dun really earn much too.
