Kelpie 2nd Gear April 14, 2009 Share April 14, 2009 so pork and chicken still ok as they are not red meat, right? I also don't touch chicken and pork too. I feel healthier by taking fish alone. if go hawker food centre, will order fish and vegs or worse case go for fish ball noodle and remind them not to put minced pork and lark. Protege 1st Gear April 14, 2009 Share April 14, 2009 Cheapest, take the oats, good for your hearts too. Agree. Heard it helps with high blood pressure as well. My parents and uncles are firm believer in it. The red color Quacker Oats. Everyday they will drink it.
Aurora 1st Gear April 14, 2009 Share April 14, 2009 I second that..... I been taking Hypocol for some times now..... It does help to reduce the bad cholestrol..... It is derived from red yeast and is natural unlike prescription cholestrol drugs..... So theoritically, there is no side effect NTUC pharmacy, Guardian and Watsons do carry them but u will have to compare prices among them cause sometimes they have their promotion where prices varies.... I usually bought from NTUC pharmacy when the price is the same cause got linkpoint..... When there is promotion, it usually comes in a pack of 3 boxes costing $99.90 (each box has 90 capsules of 600mg each).... There was once I bought the promotion pack at the above price and few days later, Guardian have promotion for $80 plus...... Recently, the brand Belkin also came out with red yeast capsules but I did not check the price cause I am comfortable with Hypocol and don't intend to change it....... Remember to check the price among the pharmacies if u intend to buy......
