I like the one when they went to Japan to test drive the Nissan GT-R. They have this hand held translating device which I think is great. You key in what you want to say and dan it speaks out in Japanese. Where to get such a device?

 

Fifth gear showcase more of the bread & butter cars while Top Gear features more on the exotics. I think BBC has done a great job since both shows together basically covers almost everything on cars.

Best car show on Earth! Nothing comes close! Especially not 5th Gear and their wannabe presenters...Boring!

 

Did you guys catch the one where they sorta showcased Finland and why so many past WRC/F1 heroes are from there? Fantastic!! It takes like 3 years to obtain a driving license in Finland and (think it was..) Captain Slow had to have a go. His instructor was Mika Hakkinen and one of the tests were to hit a string of cones placed in an arc...with the back of your car. Basically, it means you have to master drift just to pass your driving license!!

 

Can't wait for Season 13 to air...Long Live The Stig!!

I think the most funny is the episode where they challenge the car show presenters from Germany where 2 of the 3 are race car drivers, and 1 of the 2 is a woman. TC & gang took a ride in the 3 Spitfires(WWII fighter plane) and drove off in Aston Martins and arrived in style. Last challenge was best when they fooled the Germans that the Stig was James.

think was season 2 episode where they test the evo 8 vs wrx

Also like the one where Hammond was allowed to drive the Renault F1 car. It showed us how difficult it really is to drive an F1 car!

Those two episodes really made me want to go out and change my car to a Hilux at that time. Then I found out that double-cab Hiluxes are amazingly expensive over here!

 

I liked the episodes where they tried to convert their cars to amphibious cars. The 2nd time they even managed to cross the English Channel
