Josho 1st Gear April 17, 2009 Share April 17, 2009 For WOSE, first time is $50, then $100 and then $150. You get DB after the 3rd time. If you piss off the officer charging you or refuse to pay, they can also throw you in DB without following the sequence. My mate kena dunno 5th or 7th time. That time he went back camp (NSman like me liao) kena charge and about to pay fine. Quite chor but CO decided to send him to DB rather then pay the fine. Ask him save the money for bb, go DB better. Hahaha.. I ROFL... because our unit CO is out OC back then. know my mate pattern.
Elmosan Neutral Newbie April 17, 2009 Share April 17, 2009 My platoon mate when guard gate, buay tahan, never ask people to relief him go and smoke a cig. The gate is very ulu so who cares right? only 5 mins. Suay suay CO pass by. Kena charge DB. This friend his father is assistant superintendent of police (ASP), wear uniform to camp all medal and shiny stuff, talk to CO over kopi. In the end my friend let off with scolding only. Another case another RP he doze off. PC catch him. His father is not superintendent, kena DB confirmed 3 days. day 1-2 is public holiday, in the end is suffer 1 day only! Heng! Jtis 4th Gear April 17, 2009 Share April 17, 2009 And so why don't you like OCS cadets? Something about them that you don't like? Why target them? I'm really interested to know the mental thoughts of the MPs. It's not like they offended you, or are repeated and recalcitrant offenders. OCS cadets usually don't go DB because they go AWOL or anything like that... we dun like those OCS cadets.... especially target them.....
Altivo 3rd Gear April 17, 2009 Share April 17, 2009 i've a friend who was a court martial clerk during NSF and this what was he told me 12 years ago 1) All MPs have to be addressed as SIR 2) There are yellow lines drawn all over DB. Without permission, detainees are not allowed to cross it. Even putting your hand on the yellow line while sitting is not allowed 3) Detainees are only issued ... err if i remember correctly 2 t-shirts and shorts 4) No underwear is allowed 5) Boots are to be worn without the insoles and boot laces 6) During his time, there was a sort of mini riot becos a new MP was very kuai lan and not respectful to one of the "lao da". This lao da incited the "riot" by having all his people put their hands on the yellow line to challenge the MPs authority. Think of it, it's kinda funny as the MPs ended up have to put on their riot gears to make 30 of people stop putting their hands on the yellow line.... hahaha... faintz! This is what I know. was quite ironic.. some of those drug case who kenna 18mths are super 'mr muscle'. their regime was also one of the toughest. end up, dark, tanned skin with well broad shoulders and well-defined muscles.. the mp mostly pale in comparison. some skinny lah, specky lah, super fat lah.. Amortifiedpenguin Clutched April 17, 2009 Share April 17, 2009 er.. point 5) i think its boots without insole and plastic lace stopper. no boot lace still can wear meh? that time I escorted my friend to DB (awol during duty to go buy nasi lemak) go in for few days only. But the feeling still damn effed up. but he doesnt take offence of me being escort and im not pantng. during handover at the office must take out his personal items including underwear keep together inside a brown envelope. Imagine if the underwear not clean then mix with together with your cigarettes, then after 5 days give back how to smoke sia? (but anyway he gave me the remainder of his pack before he went in) Worst part is that he angkong siao. MP spent almost 5mins noting down his tattoos on the form while he was naked in a bloody cold office and i was like standing beside him. lol. In my ex-camp when you see the handcuff t-loan book, you'll see that all the t-loans are from MT line almost once every 3 months. Damn sad, cos I'm a driver. But managed to get by my NSF days without a single accident/offense. After that got free class 3 license also!!! Oh and btw, yes, if an NSF driver gets into an accident, 90% chance will gana DB. 60% chance will gana more than 5days. So if anyone gana MINOR accident with MID vehicle and the driver ask to settle privately and dont report, if possible, settle by cash, let him pay for your damage etc, dont get him into DB. please. During my service time, I have seen- Type of accident(DB period) 5ton reverse into car, car beyond repair, no injuries (42 days) L/R amb, self-own, minor injuries to passengers (36 days) Mini-bus reverse into parked van, mini-bus rear light spoil, van no damage (5 days) Prime mover or lorry bang into 5ton, lorry beyond repair, lorry driver legs crushed, 5ton paint scratched (36 days) L/R skid into car, car boot gone (7 days) 5ton reverse into another car, car windscreen crack, owner refuse setlement (14days) 2 things to be learnt, 1)anything VS 5ton = 5ton win. 2)driver is not as good a vocation as it sounds. Albeniz Turbocharged April 17, 2009 Share April 17, 2009 During my NS days (many years ago), there were two Ah Beng 3SGs who used his NSF men's 11B (identification card) to borrow money from Ah Long. I guessed the men's family got harassed by the Ah Long and the two 3SGs were caught and thrown into the DB. Can't remember how long they were sentenced to stay in DB. Pity the parents who sent their sons to NS, the sons got tekan by the 2 notorious 3SGs while in camp and family got harassed by Ah Long.
