Throttle2 Supersonic May 21, 2009 Share May 21, 2009 COE $10k is still cheap if you are from the old days, you'll understand but what is more important is not the price of COE per se but the fact that for many rounds already small car COE is more expensive than big car COE. This is a failure of the concept of COE categorization. might as well remove all categories
Leepee 1st Gear May 21, 2009 Share May 21, 2009 MTA president said COE will shoot up to $30k in a flash leh. So what shall we make of her statement?
Leepee 1st Gear May 21, 2009 Share May 21, 2009 Cannot say like that... Big cars has higher OMV...paying 2.3times in taxes to gov also. Not forgetting the road tax also higher. Cannot just see the COE price lik what you have said. but what is more important is not the price of COE per se but the fact that for many rounds already small car COE is more expensive than big car COE. Cannot just see the COE price lik what you have said. OMV is OMV, Road tax is Road tax, COE is COE Thats why I say scrap the categorization, since it doesnt work. You are getting it all mixed up and jumping to wrong conclusions.
