1 time is try. 3 times is not try. [laugh][lipsrsealed]

But have to agree the food is good and because they are not located in the main fountain area, the feeling is quite nice. Good thing about Dempsey is free parking. [laugh]

There's one at Dempsey by the name of Chang Korean BBQ that I'm going to try soon. They serve Wagyu beef... YUMMY!

Chang is not bad, but the one off Pasir Panjang is better [nosebleed]

Hmm for BBQ, is it worthwhile to get the Wagyu beef? Even for normal steaks, anything more than medium would cause the marbling to 'burn' off and waste the quality meat. So I've always restricted myself to black angus when it comes to choice of beef for BBQ.

Aunt Kim's at Upp Thomson also have the BBQ pork and beef. But you need to order at least 2 portion if you want to BBQ it yourself. It is along the shop houses where UOB bank and Dino is, just before Thomson Plaza.

Tried Aunty Kim before but not for BBQ. Don't quite like it. Prefer the Korean restaurant at Int'l Plaza, 2nd floor.

That is not the new annex. Actually it's another shopping centre called K1 or something like that. But agree the Korean restaurant (Top floor I think) there quite good, esp ginseng chicken.

Try the Korean restaurant at Lorong Kilat (lane next to Tua Pek Kong temple near Chun Tin Road, Upper Bukit Timah). Next to the Fei Xiong Tze Char restaurant. It's not a BBQ only restaurant, but serves all sorts of authentic Korean fare at friendly prices. Small, Korean Family-run business - you may have to wait at dinner time. I think only the younger generation (son/daughter?) speak English and they man the counter and wait on customers.

A couple of doors down, there's another Korean restaurant specializing in fried chicken...

If you really want only the BBQ meat type with brazier, charcoal, etc, there's one at the 1st floor of Vivo City as well....at least it was still there the last time I went months ago...
