I bought the Papago M6 Lite from the apps store. Very bad GPS.

 

1stly, drains the power of your iphone. Use up to 30% battery power for a 20 minute journey and your iphone will feel freaking hot after each use.

 

The voice navigation is very soft. If you are on silent mode and you turn on this app, there will be no voice navigation. You will need to exit the app, exit silent mode and relaunch the app. Very troublesome!

 

Navigation wise, its good and able to re-route pretty fast if ou deviate from your intended route.

 

However due to the battery thirsty nature, I gave it up after 2 weeks and bought a proper GPS.

you will be using the app while you are driving right? so it should be charging most of the time... i mounted it in front of the air-con so not so hot.... it can be very hot without the aircon blowing

 

for the volume, yes it is a bit of pain.... to turn up the volume you need to lock the volume in the setting to the loudest, if it is softer when you run the app, just up the volume by the side.

 

Navigation part is quite good, launching and re-route is fast i use it in M'sia and no problem at all.
