Slim supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio bitstream output to your receiver if you are into HT...your DTS-HD light finally can light up with the slim. The HDMI chip on fat PS3 didn't support bitstream output of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD MA do it has to decode it internally before sending it over to your receiver via LPCM.

Hmm... Downgrade my PS3 just to see the led light up on my amp.... Decisions, decisions.....

 

Same as changing my PSP to PSP Go just so that I can bluetooth headset and phone tether.

Just got my hand on the new PS3 Slim and Batman Arkham Asylum......... [thumbsup] solid gameplay even after 30min of play. This weekend will go full force in exploring the game. [thumbsup]

Bro "local" set is out. Retail price is 512 for 120GB. [thumbsup] get it lah.... i have done so.

 

Price is Qisahn is only $480 with a free HDMI cable for a local set. Local set means they have a 1 year warranty by Sony. Export sets might come with store warranty which is less reliable.

Today went to SLS, L2 was abuzz with the talk of the town. Play Edge was mentioned in today's ST abt some pricing issue.

agreed it is good. Graphics superb, gameplay good. Only downside i think is no multiplayer.
