need pickup son fr PT.

 

any1 know can i park inside or wait at the nearby car park / bus stop or ask him tk free bus to pasir ris wait there.

Uncle, why not wait at Changi beach park, the carpark(CP4) near the BBQ pits. Wait for your son to call you. Short drive to outside the terminal to pick him up.

your son booking out tgt with the whole company?? they allow parents to pick them from terminal?? i thot is compulsory to follow free bus to pasir ris if the whole company booking out.

Bro,you can never pick him up from the ferry terminal.They need to take ferry service to Pasir Ris to fall out.I believe your son just enlisted 2 weeks ago,or maybe 1 week ago.If that's the case,go to Pasir Ris.You can never go into the ferry terminal,the car park there is for officers posted to tekong.Even stop a while outside the ferry terminal will kena from RP there.

his official release area is at pasir ris interchange.

 

If he is booking out on weekdays, den he can discharge from terminal directly and take his own transport.

as of 3 mths ago(my bro enlist)...they book out from tekong..then take the chartered shuttle bus to Pasir Ris...only there then fall out...

you have like 2000-3000 over recruits booking out over a period of 3-4hrs...if drop them outside ferry terminal, sure havoc..furthermore, outside the ferry terminal, there's only 1 or 2 buses which can take them to the nearest MRT station..

My time even some tonner got aircon liao lo. My tanks for medical use one also got aircon. haha. But I always hear the drivers complaint got aircon cannot on in outfield. If not kena extra.

haha bro....ya those were the days ...i was from camp 3 i think ( 20 yrs ago cannot remember leow)..the whole company have to march and sing all the way to the jetty for our ride....ai how i wish i can turn back time

Not only that. Nowadays even from camp to field also take aircon bus. After field training also take aircon bus from outfield back to camp! That was what i experienced during recent ICT.

that's because recently, too many accidents involving kuku drivers and SAF vehicles..so they decided to cut down the amount of time MID vehicles spent on the road and instead charter bus for the purpose..

 

only going into live-firing-area then the tonners come into use..
