My friend was cursing himself when he got the same ride 4 yrs ago. The FC sucks as compared to his earlier Sunny.

 

After 2 yrs he can't tahan and sold it off.

 

If you don't drive long distance everyday, then should be ok. Else skip this one.

Uu referring to the Sunny as advertised or the Mitsu Lancer?

Yes, the space behind Sunny is a bit cramp.

 

There is another Alternative, the space behind Chevrolet Optra, especially the shoulder room is good.

My neigbour have a Sunny parking next to my Optra and the wife was quite impress with Optra space at the rear seat.

My was good , fuel consumption is decent 11km/L (auto), conti body, 4 wheel indepentent suspension

Go up north climb mountain got power, cheap and easy to maintain

I think its one of the most under-rated cars around. So price for 2nd-hand is relatively cheap.

But you could consider reducing the offer to 22k. People usually put off by rumors of Sunny bad FC and also because its a manual.

juz found out more info abt the car. is 01 transfer, 2nd owner is reg under Company Reg before landed up at the dealer, had chk w Tan chong the svc history, was told that last svc with them was on june 07 at 39K mileage now 2 yrs 9 mths later is 65+K. any comments rgd the abv?

Per year depreciation for this ride is around 3522 excluding interest

 

I have owned the previous batch of Sunny before this model which is the B14 series.

 

Nissan rides are reliable & easy to maintain

 

You may try bargaining a bit more say another 1K or 1.5K off the price

You can never go wrong with a Sunny, especially manual unless the previous owner did funny things to the car. Even a Lancer too. But Sunny is a better choice.

I will not pay more than 5k above the current scrap value. Most people will not want to get this car too coz it's reaching it's 5th year mark. Not really advisable unless you want to drive till the 10th year. If you just want to drive for a year or 2, get an 06 car coz the coe is much cheaper.

 

Just my humble 2 cents opinion
