How about getting those TSA pad locks to lock your luggage. It should be cheaper than to replace your lock on the luggage bag.

Moreover if your new lock is not TSA type, it could be forced opened by the US customs when arrived there. Of course that is if you're going to USA. Just my 2 cents though.

You can try Chiang Kong which is located at Tanjong Katong area.

I've sent 2 of my luggage, one for replacement of wheels and the other the telescopic handle.

Then last 2 months one of my bags' zip were damaged on Air China and the ground handler, SATS, sent Chiang Kong to collect and repair it.

Hey bro how much is the repair cost like?

My big one wheels is broken but they told me their replacement one is smaller but no problem for it as they have been using it all the while. It cost ard $24 each.

The other one with a telescopic handle replaced cost $12.

It depends on how bad the tear is. Mine was at the zip with a small tear and they repaired it.

My friends one also at the zip and they said not repairable.

Best is to bring it down and ask them.

They also sell some luggage bags at a cheaper price though they are likely to be used bags.

Thanks, will go down to ask them. ^_^ If the repair is less than $30, maybe can consider to repair, if not rather buy a new luggage, cause nowadays luggage bag quite cheap. [:p]

Good price! I changed my samsonite 2 wheels at mirro for $70.. Some more bought them in 2003 for $90 at Taka sale .. Seems kinda dumb for paying so much for the wheel replacement
