Caltex Sembawang closed?

Hi guys,

 

Any one has any idea what happen to Caltex Sembawang? I want to go there for car wash just now but it is closed. I still have a lot of car wash coupons [sweatdrop]

Whether or not the car wash company gets to renew their contract with the new owner, nobody knows...

 

However, this car wash company do have another outlet near woodlands road. Somewhere around Mandai Est.. Your coupons can also be used at this outlet.

I think the Caltex Sembawang need a new owner and renovation. The current one looks so old. Also, the boss of this Caltex Station come very late. If you pump your petrol earlier, sometime you need to pay cash.

 

If this car wash company never renew their contract, it is very bad as I remember they still trying to sell me some new coupon 2-3 weeks ago.

 

Mandai road is quite inconvenient for me. Anyway, any idea whether they charges extra on weekend for the Mandai Road outlet?

yes, additional $1 as well for weekend washes at the Mandai Road outlet.

 

The Mandai Road outlet is located inside the compound of Picket and Rail building.

Was using those coupons for a while too. Never bothered to buy any more. Their car wash sucks!!

As far as I know, the Caltex owner & car wash are different owners. Last time when the last car wash closed down, Caltex immediately clarified they are not connected.

 

Agree that the car wash sucks in terms of attention to individual cars, it's a car wash factory line :). Not very clean at all, but for non-coupon rate of $3, worthwhile if u just want a quick splash.

most of the stations at sembawang are so old. they really need renovation

When they first started they clean pretty well. Help you to wipe your rim and tell you how to take care your car.. Must Polish all this and that. So bought the coupons and then.. They clean really badly. Couldn't remove my bird shits and very long QUEUE.. GOSH.. Luckily I completed the course.
