Ladykillerz 4th Gear January 29, 2010 Share January 29, 2010 Finally found a shop that has stock for RS-02 and finally swapped my Assymetric. Anyone here using Assymetric? I am just doing a survey to see if there is any issue with this tyre. My Assymetric clocked 21000 km and the inner tyre surface block became uneven, hence need to change. I have a friend with same Assymetric having a cracked side wall visible only from the inside and with same mileage as mine. Eyeing on that for my next change actually. However, I was also told by my mechanic that some customers had complained that there will be crack on side wall. Do you happen to change at the same shop? Serangoon? :p ↡ Advertisement

Ar1472007 Neutral Newbie February 7, 2010 Share February 7, 2010 Hi all, Just came across the GY F1 Assy tyre crack issue and I am very upset indeed becoz I have just changed to a brand new set. As I travel long distance up north frequently and at high speed, I am very concern and has been having sleepless nite. I am running on 225/45/R17, made in german and dated 43/09. Kindly update me if any bro/sis who has experience the crack on their tyre. Many thanks!
Sky61 1st Gear February 7, 2010 Share February 7, 2010 hi,i have been on 2sets on F1 assy for my front and one set for my rears, so far no issues wif sidewall cracking and i do corner quite a bit. only grip wif it is the way my first set front wears out (25000km) and some high speed balancing issues(light vibrations at above 100km/h) from time to time that i suffer wif F1 assy and not the previous F1 GSD3. nothing a onwheel balancing couldnt solve... i would say its a value for money set of tyres compared to PS2 n RE11.
