Goodyear Assymetric

Finally found a shop that has stock for RS-02 and finally swapped my Assymetric.

Anyone here using Assymetric? I am just doing a survey to see if there is any issue with this tyre.

My Assymetric clocked 21000 km and the inner tyre surface block became uneven, hence need to change.

I have a friend with same Assymetric having a cracked side wall visible only from the inside and with same mileage as mine.

Hope Sony is watching this. I think he is currently on Asymetric. I'm currently on RS-02 as is looking at ASY for the next change as there has been positive feedback on comfort/performance quotient. It looks like I need to do more finding liao.

Mine was the early batch installed last year Nov (not China made).

My friend knew it when his installer took out the tyre from rim to check prior to his trip to Sepang.

If there is no issue for other users, then it is ok.

i'm on F1 asymmetric, noise personally i dont find it noisy at all, the old F1 i find that noisy. the dry grip is better than the old F1, wet grip about the same. only complain is that mileage isn't that good. my front only travelled 25k km,and the thread is all gone until flush wif the wear indicator. my rears are still doing fine (on staggered) just change to a set of new ones for the front. personally i feel its value for $$$ for the kind of grip it offers.

25k mileage for a UHP tyre considered good liao. My RS-02s done 13k oredi >75% botak. My previous MIG F1s lasted abt 20k.
