need some help

fren's ice keeps blowing the fuse once the volume is turn up too much

using 20amp fuse now, already blown 2...

 

safe to upgrade to a higher amp fuse? what to go for?

higher current flow that produces higher heat that blows the fuse?

higher amp fuse may help, but risk of catching fire is also possible.

Must see if the wire can take higher current before changing to bigger fuse.

If not, wire will overheat and melt insulation, causing a fire hazard.

the original fuse is sized to protect the cable from catching fire. If a higher current rating fuse is used instead, yes it may not blow... but it may also allow the cable to overheat under consistent overloading and may also damage your amplifier. It is important that the sizing of cable and fuse matches the load requirement, in this case, the load is your amp/speaker. Hope this provides some insight.

yah,, fuse blow.. just replace it and will be up and good.

btw ..my radio reception is very bad after my k.l trip just last month.. nothing wrong when i play my DVD/VCD/WMA/USB etc.. but when switch to radio mode got alot of interferance noise... Checked all my connection , nothing wrong .. so what is the proble? circuit board got burnt? where to retify this problem? Or any1 got lobang on single din DVD player ?

The interference may have come from leaking spark plug cables ( replace with new sets ) or +B battery terminal ( connect a suppressor )
