even the cheapest plan come with 10gb data ...guess there will be war but Singtel's customer services really sucks.

Being a customer with them since 1995, they only offer $100 vouchers for customer retention which I told them it's an insult.

Same, Being with Singtel for almost 10 years, with 95$ mobile plan, so far havent received any voucher etc, some more they turn on the service on my mobile line like auto roaming after 1 yr of contract, when asked to turn it off, ask me to pay 3 months charges.

So pissed of with them , waiting for my contract to end, will discontinue both my mobile line, home line, internet, etc etc..

m1 plan is indeed solid, with 10gb of data [bounce2]

I have been with Singtel for maybe > 15 years? And I never get any voucher [speechless]

apparently need to call and ask.. and if you are small time user, the amt will be insulting.

you see, they give 100 off for people switching over to their line but give less than that for existing customer..

it's clear that they are keen on new fish only.. those, even if you are with them for donkey years, can stay one corner

let's just say i learn my lesson only recently.

as to the vouchers, let me share the prelude..

it start with a newspaper report on the twin card issue which I also experienced. During the incident, i called and ask why it happen, they apologies and close case. but the newspaper reported that some customer that complaint, i.e. make louder noise got their whole month of bill waived.

So following that, I called and make some noise, they said will waive the $5 sub, and I ask them if there's any discrimination between me and those on newspaper. in the end, they relent and waive the month's bill.

Before they end my call, he mentioned that my contract have just ended, so refer me to marketing. And marketing made that insulting offer.

Guess this provider need some screaming before they take action, otherwise, pay your due on time and they continue to earn your money

hi all,

do you think 16GB is needed or 8GB would be enough for average user..ultimately it depends on how many applications you going to install right??

which one will u take?

If i am not wrong 8GB is only available in 3G and not in 3GS which is new release compared to 3G

All service providers and credit cards, banks, all same kettle of fish lah. Willing to spend more on new customer acquisition but treat existing long-time customers like sh!t. When you want to switch, then they ask why? Offer to waive this, waive that, why they don't treat us better in the first place [knife][rifle]

I'm already on singtel data plan, with the new 3GS I was really interested finally in an iphone, so when it was launched, I went down and without my plan due yet, I couldn't get the iphone for anything less than the RRP So much for being an longtime Singtel customer [whip]

Now with M1 and SHB offering iphone, let me go and try again [idea]

Ya, must 'actively' threaten to switch to a competitor then they relent...

In my case of the iphone, they didn't even insult me with a discount, insisted since I already on data plan, and my home already on Mio service, and all contracts not due, I can only get the iphone at RRP [smash][smash][smash] Wah liao really feel like 'actively' writing to Forum and Chua Sok Koong

they are saying you don't have a bargaining chip..

come back when your contract is due.

take this as a prelude to IR.
