Xtrocious 1st Gear October 12, 2010 Share October 12, 2010 Trust me, he is eating high fat. Doesn't eat any bread/rice, etc. He is about 20kgs heavier than me with a body fat of 30%! But what else is he eating? Does he take a lot of sugar? Unless we know exactly what is it that he's eating, that's too general to say that a low-carb diet doesn't work... Skunk Clutched October 12, 2010 Share October 12, 2010 Chewing gum or any kind of sweets, are toxically saturated with sugar. The cheat meal is unlikely your undoing, it's all these gum.
Xtrocious 1st Gear October 12, 2010 Share October 12, 2010 yes, genetics play a part....my whole family is very lean except me...probably from a damaged metabolism from alcohol n psychotropic medication...but luckily i reversed it with this diet hehe. Nope, he's still very lean, still got 6 packs....but then he's still very young...and also he (and other members of my family) has a very very small appetite....eats like a bird, and is very picky about food....this don't eat, that don't eat....per meal, he eats an average of a fistful of food only LOL....how to be fat like that? anyway, that fish was caught in Darwin, Australia, at a place called Channel Island....can't tell from the photo, but fishing there was hell...we were constantly bombarded by tiny red-coloured flies that i've never ever seen before in Asia.... That would be sandflies... We do get them here, especially on Tekong... The bite is damn poisonous and the itch will last a week or more... Been fishing in many parts of Australia too - lovely but we practice catch and release most of the time cos we don't have a place to cook the fish properly...hahah
Chickenbackside 1st Gear October 12, 2010 Share October 12, 2010 I posted a study in the thread before. The THOUGHT of having something sweet in your mouth is enough to spike insulin. You don't actually need to eat it to put your body into fat storage mode. If you're having something sweet in your mouth 8 hours a day, you are sabotaging your own efforts of weaning your body off sugar. Your body needs to learn how to use fat for energy. Not sugar. Haven't been able to convince my CO to go on a campervan holiday I doubt the hotels welcome us bringing live fish back and scaling and gutting it in the rooms...hahah

Mazdaowner Moderator October 12, 2010 Share October 12, 2010 Crystal, with or without coconut oil, so long as you eat ANYTHING SWEET, FLOUR, RICE and the list goes on and on and on... nothing will happen...well, nothing much. *sigh* Die, die must eat clean, die die, best you cook your own meals, die die, have to put in effort, no effort no gains. You have to put in effort in anything you do, do something, do it 100%, and get 100% results, do half past six and well.......... Maybe it's just me, I go all the way, no compromise, no prisoners, no excuses. Bro CBS , MO Ok , from tomorrow onwards , I will be 100% committed , no more cheat meals.
