It broadens a recall announced in late 2008 for less than 4,000 Accord and Civic sedans, then expanded in mid-2009 to cover another 510,000 vehicles. The latest announcement also covers Japan, Mexico, Taiwan and Australia. The fresh blow to Japanese carmakers came as Toyota recalled nearly half a million hybrid cars over faulty brakes. And not Japan brand.. y feel sorry for toyota and honda car owners? i don't own one myself but toyota and honda are still good brands and they will be in the future. at least these 2 brands are willing to come clean with QC problems. they have the $$$ and resources to do a proper recall and rectification. i'm sure there many of the car brands have QC issues but refuse to recall due to cost issues or simply becos they don't have the $$$ to do it Edited February 11, 2010 by Jamesgetz Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
