What a Durian tree.

heh, cool. the durian shape is all weird too. you gotta wait for durians to fall, esle it wont taste good. might get stomach ache if the person plucks it off. Think it's better old school, and wait for the durian to fall, wait for the "dub" sound and search around for where it fell. heh, childhood memories.

Not like this..... but when I went to a Thai durian plantation, I saw many trees that were like only 2 to 3 meters tall ...... and they were bearing fruits the size of footballs and larger.....

i thought i remember durians grow high up from tall trees...? =P

That is what i heard from durian plantation owner also. It will drop on your shoulders but not on your head as long as you walk around. Just make sure dont stand still under the tree and you should be safe. The plantation owner got many Indo workers collecting durian during the season and so many years gone without anyone got hit on the head.

from the scientific theory point of view, the probability of durians dropping on one person's head is too low to consider.

if you believe this fairy tale is true, gather a dozen men standing around a durian tree. =x
