It goes in roughly three monthly intervals - March = IT show, June = PC Show, Sept = COMEX, late Nov = SITEX. Remember the mnemonic IPCS (I Play Counter-Strike). Well, whatever you do, don't get an Acer. Their quality is crap. Both PCs my dad and I bought at PC Show 2 years ago conked out really fast. Multiple problems, and required numerous warranty services. Mine finally gave up for good, and it had just gone out of warranty. I had to change the mobo myself, and it works much better. Mazdaowner Moderator February 20, 2010 Share February 20, 2010 I'll second that, my company bought 6 PCs against my wishes to go for Compaq, all 6 had their technician come in to change MB, had tons of problems, users kept complaining system not working, sent back to service centre so many times. Now my boss knows better to shut the fark up and spend more for quality. IDIOT!! Now we still have 3 left, and they're NEVER switched off, locked only. Moment you switch off, something new happens. Some may go for the cheaper ones at a more affordable price but slightly outdated components or software. Some take the opportunity to get the middle range to higher end products so that it will be in fashion for some time before changing. By in fashion, i mean being current to the environmental upgrades like Hardware advancement and software compatibility. From experience, for affordable reliability i would choose Compaq, Samsung and Toshiba. How-ever, i am bitten by the Apple bug to convert. It really boils down to what you need a laptop for? And my TP-link router, which is also MIC has been very reliable.
