English5b Neutral Newbie March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 Hi all, is F1 live telecast (ESPN Star Sport?) on MIO this year? Thanks. ↡ Advertisement
Ben5266 Supercharged March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 I think is first Starhub then after June Singtel. But $25 per month just to watch F1... a bit ex leh... 1 month 2 races, Sat 1 hour, Sun 2 hours. So total only 6 hours per month. $4+ per hour. Beanoyip Turbocharged March 5, 2010 Share March 5, 2010 $25 also includes BPL, ECL, Tennis, etc.
Felipe 3rd Gear March 5, 2010 Share March 5, 2010 think he meant starhub only, $25 and he only watches F1. but once it goes to mio, you also pay the same price, with F1 included. But at least mio there's no basic charge.
Ben5266 Supercharged March 5, 2010 Share March 5, 2010 Yes, I am not a fan of EPL. Tennis, yes will watch when Federer is in action. SingTel so far no plan for ESPNStar only. Die die must pay for EPL + ESPN. Why must I sponsor EPL fans? My old TV has no more input for another box, and I have to keep Starhub as my children want PlayHouse Disney. Hopefully, SingTel could come out something come June.
English5b Neutral Newbie March 6, 2010 Author Share March 6, 2010 Thanks for replies. Same here, I only watch F1 on sport channel. Got to keep SCV for kids, and for channels like National Geography, discovery etc. It will be quite trouble to keep another set-top box for F1...sigh... Kazuo Neutral Newbie March 7, 2010 Share March 7, 2010 ehh... Singtel is the main sponsor for F1 ya?
Felipe 3rd Gear March 7, 2010 Share March 7, 2010 f1 will go to singtel sometime in july, same for EPL. So you will need mio eventually if you want to watch f1.

Mrjay Neutral Newbie April 1, 2010 Share April 1, 2010 Rite now, I think it is quite competitive... overheard from class 95 that most of the sports are going to MIO?

Qwertyjem85 Neutral Newbie April 8, 2010 Share April 8, 2010 Rite now, I think it is quite competitive... overheard from class 95 that most of the sports are going to MIO? Problem is that between both providers, the big dog is ESPN... Singtel never had much of a sports package to begin with. Hope that Starhub finds a way to bring F1 back... Otherwise, I'm resorting to to**enting... Which is not a bad deal, commercial-free and the commentators are way better. Even the interviews are awesome! I just don't like the idea of not watching it LIVE! ↡ Advertisement
