i mean base on your calculation but cause u put 19mth there but the car is aug2009 so is only 8 mth.

second hand resale Picanto 1.1 (M) - 13-Aug-2009 (19mths)= $32,800:

http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.ph...051&DL=1198

New Picanto price at aug 2009 = $38999

38999-32800=$6199

6199/8=774 per mth

774*12=$9288 per year

sorry if i misunderstand ya calculation..

so will u recommend me to get a old version 2005 picanto which is ard 20k than a 33k 09picanto?

at the moment, keep the $$$

Hypersonic

Owned it for 5 yrs before i sold it, really a very good compact car.

if 310KM until the lights up is really bad FC for your car.

My manual one can hit between 490-520KM if i dun remember wrongly depends on how much highway and city.

try to change all the fluids and service the trottle body/clear some carbon.

Once upon a time there are many picanto on the road, but nowadays seems like not many picanto left on the road? [:/]

The Rio is better and more solid IMHO.

Also just as reliable.

But the rio seems to come fast and also disappeared fast. You dont really see much rio on the road now.

There is actually a new Rio being (or already) launched worldwide.

But C&C told me that they are not bringing in cars smaller than 1.6L when COEs are so high ... difficult to sell in numbers.

The new rio comes in 1.4L again?

I need a car to ferry a baby and 2 dogs . is hyundai getz a better choice than picanto in terms of interior space ? what are these two models being compare ? Is it because they are of the closer price range?

getz, picanto and chevrolet aveo5, they are about the same price. aveo5 looks like jazz, not too sure about reliability.
