Good question.

Another question is how the 5 stations were invented. I heard an urban legend that 2.4 has to do with out running enemy bombardment during WW1.

Sure or not? Your physical "decline" is amazing. :o

I am proud to say my shuttle run has always been 5 points since day 1. As someone who likes to eat at kopitiam without putting coupons, shuttle run is the IPPT station most relevant to real life.

sure..

i gain 45kg in 3 years

haha

too much gaming [sly]

Jokes aside, Bro Introz should really do something about his weight.

To use an analogy, local women weight ~50kg.

Imagine running 2.4 while having to piggyback your wife. :blink:

me ah

before ord

pull up = 25

sit up = 55

shuttle run = 8.9 sec

sbj = 245

2.4= 10.15

4years after ord..

pull up = 1

sit up = 30

shuttle run = 12 sec

sbj = <180

2.4= 20.00min

:D

Wow.. Your NSF fitness better than me..

Chin Up = 12

Shuttle Run = 9.1 Sec

Sit up = 41

SBJ = 234 cm

2.4 = 9 min 34 Sec

But then I only try for max 5 points for every station, except SBJ (which I alway have problem).. To me no point doing extra.. Gold is still gold.. Do extra + waste energy also gold.. [laugh]

Now (4 Years 5 months after ORD)

Chin up = 3

Shuttle Run = 11.0 Sec

Sit Up = 39

SBJ = 180 cm

2.4 = 18 min 56 Sec

It is supposed to be true. Because if you do constant speed cardio, meaning endurance stuff, chances are your body will adapt and become more efficient, thus burn lesser fats. Short, fast, variation, high resistance exercises will build muscles, which will in term rise your metabolism rate, thus will achieve better weight loss.

Been reading from here. Yet to be proven. [laugh]http://www.TruthAboutAbs.com
