Anyone can o comment please. in term of noise level it is way better then t1r, very quiet consider its a uht. but if u talking about performance wise , i wont say it win t1r, maybe lose abit 5%? its not a toyo proxes tyre after all, but overall if u want some thing to chiong on the road, yet u dun want a noisy tyre, drb is up there with re001, high performance, low noise . (in case u dun know, there is a new toyo proxes tyre out there ,PROXES C1S ) ( u might want to check it out and compare it to drb)

Is this a good tire with good handling on wet and dry and also is the tread wear very high. Anyone can o comment please. i changed my T1R to the DRB 2mths ago. It is quiet but performance wise, just say i am now looking for other tires... the drb is good for normal driving and maybe some spirited driving but for some reason i am less confident on the drb especially at speeds of over 130......especially if you are going thru the bend at around that speed... if you dun travel above this speed i think the drb should be ok for you Edited March 27, 2010 by Galantspeedz

Care to comment please. i have never seen so many before on 1 rim.... i think you should seek a 2nd opinion with another tyre shop.... 15pcs on 1 wheel seems to me the wheel may be out of shape liao... personal opinion only.... may not be correct

Register this forum to find out more about this tire. Any review on this tire? I'm currently using it. This is my first tire change. I have google review for this tire, not much but at least all is positive. Is it my expectation too high? haha.. complaining its noisy. Is this a new model, thats why not much review ? Anyone using this tire can advise if its safe to drive at 120km -130km during wet condition? Thinking to sell it away as i'm more attracted to LS2000 hybrid II, but seem like whole sg no stock. Front l/h outside 8pcs & inside 7pcs and front r/h outside 8pcs & inside 7pcs. No vibration from 60 to 120/130kmh i would say 9 pcs and 8 pcs is quite high , maybe the guy installing the rim, didnt put it in the correct positon, some time jun jun the weight of the rim and tyre dun balance each other out, its in the orange zone , but haven reach the red zone where u can demand some thing to be done . if u see the guy doing balancing , and high number come up, u can demand the shop to reajust , since u getting new rim/tyres from them , but if u already drive out, nothing much can be done . ( if u are a regular to that shop, and u know the owner well, u can try ask him ajust for u , if u feel very uneasy by the high number of metal )
Classy310 Neutral Newbie March 30, 2010 Share March 30, 2010 Does different tires affect braking distance? It seem like i have a better braking distance after i changed to toyo drb.
Galantspeedz Turbocharged March 30, 2010 Share March 30, 2010 Does different tires affect braking distance? It seem like i have a better braking distance after i changed to toyo drb. yes it does... usually more grip = more noise = shorter braking distance and vice versa i for 1 feels that noise and grip are usually mutually exclusive.... up to a certain extent
