Simchuan86 Clutched December 1, 2010 Share December 1, 2010 Can i check any towing service for Aviva if vehicle break down in Malaysia. cant find any infor on this Hi Dafansu, I checked for you with aviva on your question. If the vehicle is break down in Malaysia, the towing service is not free. That mean you have to pay for your own cost. They also mentioned that you can call them up to arrange with them for the towing service but i guess they gonna charge you high high. and If the vehicle is break down in Malaysia due to accident, the towing service cost will all incurred to the claim amount. ↡ Advertisement
Simchuan86 Clutched December 1, 2010 Share December 1, 2010 I lookrf through the coverages, it seems quite good. But they don't cover cars with modifications. This word is quite broad. regarding this question, they mentioned "subject to approval and based on terms and condition". LOL. Very board answer. -__________-'''
Cybertech 4th Gear December 1, 2010 Share December 1, 2010 I got AVIVA car insurance and I totally not happy with them!!! My truck was stolen on july 8 2010 and was found on july 26 2010 I got no service from Aviva. Yhey asking me to pay for everything: For rental truck, for towing, deductable. And they don't pay for car inspection and not gonna fix it. Totally not satisfied and got lot's of stress And now hired a lower. And we are going to fight with them!!! What was the mention Car Inspection and Not gonna fix it??? As for car rental, I read their website can pay the additional "Loss of Use" option to have a courtesy car for upto 10 days. Actually got one question regarding this "Loss of use" option. If I got into an accident bang the car in front and I have this "Loss of use" option during the insurance signed up, will I get a temp replacement car (courtesy car) from Aviva even though I am claiming OD? As long its a one stop service (ie they can settle the towing, I dont mind paying for it). For my case I have change suspension and installed sunroof on my car, they have this question "whether the car is according to manufacturer specifications", eventually may be a risk if i insured with them, later they come out with crap reason when I want to do a claim

Baphomet 3rd Gear December 1, 2010 Share December 1, 2010 share your experience Ok. I bought a policy from them for car A. After 1 year, I renewed policy with them. 1 month later, I sold car A and bought Car B. So called them and enquire about the application for new policy for Car B and to get the refund for Car A's policy. Car B's policy went thru smoothly via online application. next day received policy. Was told to fill up some forms for the refund. filled up and submitted via email as adviced. Received an email acknowledgement which promised a pro-rata refund within 14 working days. on the tenth working day, realised refund not received yet so called them to enquire. The CSO told me that my account (car A) is still active and no submission for cancellation/refund was done...meaning they've neglected my case. If I did not call, they won't even know. In the end, I only received my refund ard 20+ working days later. Maybe some ppl might find this a small issue. but to me, its an insurance company which broke their promise to the insured. I also feel that can't eliminate agents. Once i called their hotline to enquire about their policy.. CSO told me as she's not an agent, she can't answer me. Then I say can I talk to anyone to enquire, she say no one. She just kept saying everything thru online. Was lured to take their insurance due to the price (darn freaking cheap). But come to think of it, if heng heng no accident no claims ok lah..if suay suay kena..no agents..the claims sure very complicated and take very long one. I had an accident in july (some young bloke kissed my arse) and i actually claimed his insurance. when getting a quote from direct asia/ aviva, is this considered making a claim or is my records still clean? i've gotten a quote online from both using a clean record and it's half of what axa quoted. just wondering if the price they quoted is correct for my case. thanks a lot ↡ Advertisement
