Sad that Honda discontinued the type-r which means the FD2R and the FN2

NSX , integra , prelude , delsol , s2000 all those fast car from Honda has discontinued

 

the only hope is the Civic type-r and then they discontinued it.....

 

only left the CR-Z as their sportiest car ..

Sadness... They killed the V10 NSX replacement and now they kill the Type R, along with many other great NA cars... Sounds like a bunch of number crunchers sitting at the top of Honda...

maybe scam to push up the type r sales by Honda....

 

just a thought... when Kah motor in Sg launched the new civic (present generation before facelift) i remember the sale ppl there said only got 1.8 and 2.0.... then a few months later 1.6 came out...

How about Euro R? Not seen it for a while too.

Think the last Euro R that we always see on the road stopped rolling off the Sayama production plant sometime in 2008.

After leaving F1 , i believe the business model has changed for Honda. VTEC is an engine which had problems passing the Euro standards and they are slowly changing them. Emphasis might be with hybrids and greener cars.

Don't think they have any problem meeting the 2012 euro emission standard.

They have line up a series of concept cars to meet future demand from low emission petrol car, hybrid, electric and fuel-cell cars.
