In Ironman 2, there is a Stark Expo.

co-incidentally, Shanghai is also having the World Expo.

Which Expo will have more exposure to the world?.....something to ponder.

Those are fighting style. One may have the best fighting style but if one's speed is slow, it still can't make it in fighting. To me, it's all depend on speed. If one can deliver an attack in nanosec which naked eyes couldn't see, no can manage to avoid it.

However, when the fight involve in internal strength, then speed can only help if the weaker opponent can manage to hit his oppenont vital point.

Have anyone seen Gandmaster that can simply grind a porcelain spoon to powder with only 2 of his fingers? I can bet that even 10 of our karate kid (Picanto) would not match him in a duel.

(edited)

thats why boxing is more to strength in punches, boxer has biggger build

WC or chinese kungfu is speed and take down opponent fast, usually user are smaller size frame

canot imagine is very muscular guy train WC or chinese kungfu..whats the reaction combos like?

if 1 super muscular guy who dont know any kungfu, meet a v good karate black belt,

i wonder who will win when come to fight also...muscles are hard to make it painful, unless ur blow is like a true boxer [laugh]

You black belt ? A good martial art exponent should know where to hit to neutralise all his opponents at the shortest possible time even using a single stroke per person. So dealing with 3 or more should not be a problem and the only problem is when you are involved in a lengthy fight with many people and that may leads to exhaustion which is a disadvantage. [:)]<_<

question of 1 vs many very simple... see who is in the many. if the many inside got 1 ip man, then no matter who is the one also no use.

NOT NICE to watch in singapore

because nothing beat original cantonese version!!

Just like watching Infernal Affairs (Wu Jian Dao)...mandarin version not exciting anymore

I will willing to pay high price for ticket if local cinema willing to show the cantonese version. Otherwise, I will just go JB to watch (RM5-10 only!)

Yeah, totally true man! This is especially true when watching Stephen Chow films. The mandarin version is already very funny, but when you watch the original canto version, you could die laughing [laugh]

actually in the show i feel ip man should have lost to the boxer. cause the boxer wearing boxing gloves, that reduce the impact of his punch significantly... the show put it that ip man received few punches by him on the face but every punch always a take down and almost a KO, imagine he nv put on gloves...

ya i read about it too

infact the 6-7 of them is really taught by Ip Man himself, rest is train with these 6-7 people

Bruce Lee skill is partly evolve from WC..therefore he is linked very much to Ip man

his skill (forget what name),also fast and furious kind

Rest of WC is taught by his son, Ip Chun, local got 1 guy is graduated and taught personally by him

btw i am waiting to watch "叶问前传

Turbocharged

the problem i have with chinese martial art show is that it always have the same storyline.

Always is first how good the hero is, then hero get torture or something, then how hero overturn its adversary.

The last scence of the movie showed Lee as a greasy kid approaching Ip Man for wing chun training. A bit corny if you asked me...

But the rest of the movie was thoroughly enjoyable, think it was more popular than Iron Man 2 in the cinemas! Using the tried & proven "Rocky" formula (i.e. friend gets beaten to death by foreign devil, hero takes up the challenge and inevitably wins) the movie entertained on all fronts [thumbsup]

I dunno. Last time I witness someone fight against five person. One stroke here one stroke there and afew stroke here and there. After that can see people bleeding from the nose and lying on the floor. Think every stroke going for the vital point. The last person ran away after the fighter pick a chair to throw at him.
