Murano Crash with Truck, latter OVERTURN at Serangoon

 Share

Recommended Posts

Happened at 5am plus this morning at the junction of upper serangoon road and boundary road there.

Truck literally overturned and SJV murano face opposite direction. Big crash

Saw at least 7-10 police cars, TP, Civil defence. Think someone trapped or died.

Anyone saw?

What happened is this.

All vehicle moved off from the junction, the truck approach the junction ready to slow down, but proceed due to green light. The CRV just dash from Paya Lebar towards boundary road.Truck left side hit the back of CRV and overturn due to the impact.CRV driver not injured and only the back of the CRV is damage.Lorry hit lamp post and kerb and cabin totally smashed.Passenger was trapped inside and driver was inside supporting the passenger all along due to passenger leg trapped.Driver wasn't trapped at all.

no shiit, man!!!! :o did crv guy admitted to chionging red light?

No one will admit to the mistake. If he admit,he need to pay fine and damage for everything. No witness was there, but due to accident and has casualties,I hope TP can review the junction video camera. If not,I'll push for it and the damage is very clear cut CRV chiong red light.

The Driver damn good man - well done [thumbsup] ....is easy to panic in such situation but (he?) keep head and support passenger. Deserves to be recognised for this.

Thoughts are with passenger.

Take Care!

i've seen a few times when the driver jus drive off or nvr stop when its red light. either too blur or talking wif passenger or on the phone. lucky for them, no car at other directions.

please forgive my ignorance. i am not familiar with that area. i don understand how a crv's rear can knock into the left hand side of the lowlee [confused]

i would have thought that the crv's front would crash into the left hand side of the lowlee......very hard to visualise.......

Please lah, u know what is defensive driving, i also seen many times cars approaching junctions chiong on immediate 'green light' change.. U have to anticipate these type of CRV chiong red lights also.. CRV is vvv wrong, lorry is also wrong.. Two wrongs become buang..

Thank you.I told him the same thing.I asked him why you don't want to come out,he said his brother was trapped, let him go and his leg might severe, thus he hang on till help come.Kudos!

I think you can shut up.Lorry already anticipate the red light and slow down, only proceed when it's still green. The CRV chiong red light that has been red for at least 20 seconds, still is lorry fault?
