However, due to WC, the timing maybe not be that. I'm not sure whether is it like a paired thingy where I will need to have one at source and another at the receiving end for the signals to be transmitted across..... But as you said, the modem would work fine w/o this port filter..... If I can recall, I think rental is like 4 ~ 5 bucks a month for 12mths and thereafter that you don't need to pay (I might be wrong)..... so it's like 60bucks..... How much does a home plug cost?
