I have sent my car to repair and though the warranty agent has provided me a car to use, but they take too long to repair it. They are not professional at all though they claim they are. They take their own sweet time and down my car there for so long, so consider my COE of 14k, insurance of 4k a year and road tax of 1.2k a year, they hold my car for 2 months already, I should be able to claim a $1100 from them...

Anyone has such bad experience from WARRANTY AGENT? PLS Share with me what I can do.....

Did you try calling them to ask? The reason why it took so long?

I dun see that they will gain anything for holding your damaged car for so long. One of the possible reasons might be they cannot get the spare part.

have you read the terms and conditions of your warranty?

did you agent spell out what they will not compensate for warranty?

You need to establish your baseline for negotiating compensation

PS, do not clock post to start a thread. U could have PM a mod to help you start.

Even for outside workshop I saw an S2000 owner had to wait 2 months for an original rear bumper to be shipped in. Poor fellow have to drive around in a dented bumper.

the car they lend you, also got coe, ins and rd tax. maybe higher than your own car. can they claim you?

i think at most you can only insist they give you an equivalent car.. if it is not already an equivalent one.

the warranty was purchased by my PI, and I dun have the warranty clauses with me, so i shall get a copy from them.

haha, the rd tax and insurance add up at least 5times lesser than me... imagine ur merz is hold by them and they let u drive nissan...how u feel? good enough? equivalent car ?they sure cant make it....the car i own is ex in sg and no such car rent in singapore as far as i know.

ok, I am an engineer and from the failure sympthon, it is due to something, say A, then after I went through with them, they work from B to Z without touching A cos they cant find alternative parts and original replacement part for A at cheap cost, so they are reluctant to get a 18k parts to test out for me.... The

"A" i mentioned is just a small part in a mechanism, but the mechanism cost about 18K and it is sold as a whole module....so they hold my car there for so long...damn it.... so that is y i name my nick here...super cockup....

Yeah lor buy from PI to save some $$$ then service not good come forum also nobody can help u.

Warranty or not unless they totally don't service you, you have a case.

But they already provided u a temp ride and fixing your car ~ u really don't have a case against them.
