STA inspected, grade A, but im not sure flooded o not?

STA inspect doesn't mean 100% accurate leh?! [rolleyes] But sice u have already booked, congrats and enjor your ride. [:)]

STA grade A means nothing.

 

They might have strike a deal for all u know.

 

Inspection also dont have physical information stored on record. Just a simple checklist.

 

Once you drive out the car, thats it.

 

Re-inspection time they can always say whatever problem create by you.

C'mon man, he has already bought the car. Instead of pouring cold water on him, you can perhaps give him advise to encounter such problem if there really is. [:|]

 

In my opinion, i doubt there are such thing as "kopi" money to these inspection centers. Perhaps in those olden days.

 

Singapore is rule by law. [thumbsup]

 

Make sure you obtain the certificate from your dealer that is graded A from the inspection center. Counter-check thoroughly the parts that have been inspected on that certificate.

 

If there seems to have any problem in within a period of weeks after you collected the car, you can demand an explanation from that particular inspector.

 

If you are not satisfied by his answer, write an email to the higher authority of the center. Ask for a redress. Investigation will sure be carried out.

 

Don't worry, as long as we know the proper channel in Singapore and where to appeal our case, we can be rest assured from such frauds. [nod]

u r right on the first part.. but not latter... anyway, my advise is dont put too much or pin too much hopes on these hopeless inspection center.... buying 2nd car without knowing the owner/histories, especially from dealers is about buying 4D/toto [laugh]
