Tyre pressure

Thanks for replying, am really appreciative of the response I get from MCF members.

 

Partially my question arise for tyre pressure is because I read many articles that spoke about FC vs comfort. Personally, yes i am going for comfort.

 

However, the deeper side of things is that I know that on the roads, tyre heats up and the pressure inside the tyre actually increases.

 

Therefore, the confusing calculation etc is the mind bubbling item thus resulting in the question.

 

I think perhaps I did not elaborate clearly haha.

 

 

I am wondering if you do not understand his question, or you assume his question?

Thanks replying, I think when I first started the topic, I did not indicate I was going for comfort. It is only after the first few post that I edited my first post to add in the comfort. Thus some forumers actually is not to be blamed as it was only edited later. Haha my fault my fault.

No need to put bubble tea in your mind... the manufacturer's recommendation is for cold tyres, so as long as you haven't travelled much before reaching the petrol station where you pump your tyres, you should follow their recommendation for comfort.

hmm ... think have read in some posts that an increase on the recommended is suitable since we are in a hotter climate.

 

The tire also looks a little more properly inflated when we do so. Comfort-wise, will feel lesser impact on road bumps.

 

Personally, +30kpa feels okay since the air escapes over the weeks.

For optimum comfort, pump less 5kPa from recommendations. Tyre must be pumped cold during normal usage hours.

i drove to the nearest station from home today amd pump the recommended pressure to give it a try before heading out for meeting. will monitor the feel on commonly travelled roads within this few days. thamks
