Hi Kurty.. hows your korea trip? can pass on some tips?  :yeah-im-not-drunk: I also booked a KIA from Sixt car rental..

Hello.

sure, what sort of info do you need?

Driving? remember to include insurance when you made the booking online.

It will cost more, if you do it over the counter.

To plan your trip well, divide jeju into 4 portion. top left as 1, top right as 2, bottom right as 3 and left as 4.

as time is the essence, plan your itinerary well and advance.

speed limit is 60km and 80km, so far I have hit 110km without getting caught.

again, go slow and easy.

I find it's challenging to drive at 1 especially its the most dense. petrol will cost more at 1 and 2, hence I usually pump at 3 & 4.

we tried to clock 3 places within a day and things are pretty expensive.

Best is to buy some street food and da bao back to hotel.

we spend like SGD600 for 5 days stay in jeju.

remember to eat their kyoho grapes, its heavenly

U have those numbers from varies locations? my understanding is u have to key in their phone number into the GPS in order to reach the place.

Basically will go jeju(4.5day) to eat not on shopping.. cos my 2nd half of the trip will b at seoul(4.5day).  Hows the weather over there?

Don't worry, when you reach Sixt counter, they will provide you a list of POI.

They will do a walk through with you on the using of GPS.

What I did was simple,

I stay in 2 hotels during the 5 days, so I will travel within these hotels to save time and petrol.

I even had them registered as favourite as their GPS is Korean.

was told there's  English version but don't allow telephone entering..

hence I took the Korean gps

Upon collecting your car, check for defects such as dent or scratches.

as they are very particular when you return the car hence insurance coverage is important.

don't bother to shop at jeju, things are expensive and waste of time.

save your shopping in seoul.

weather, is great..

like 24/7 full air con.

I believe it will be much colder during your travel period as compare to mine.

nope..

not so easy as everything is in Korean hence make sure you and your partner learnt it.

once you master, it should be easy.

first time driving on left side?

convert your license to AA?

remember to bring your credit card, the one which was used for making the payment as they will check.

remember to bring your local license too

How can Jessica be the prettiest?

Taeyeon is the prettiest.

Anyway, i have CDs from Taeyeon, Jessica and Tiffany.

By the way, if go Korea, must go & buy CD from brick & mortar shop.  They will give you picture of Korean Singer.

Taste is subjective. TY has a voice which is going south, what is saving her is that she has a nice tone. Tiff cannot sing.

I booked KT car rental and they had English GPS and can type in phone no. for POI

and hotels. Just book the English GPS in advance so they reserve one for you.

If budget is a bit tight can book what they call lovely hotels. The price is cheaper,

most have a big double bed and bathroom with bath tub and mine had a 50"

plasma tv with modern artistic film. I like to learn about different cultures so I was

watching a lot of that before I slept. I am not one of those close minded people

that keep saying Singapore TV good, other country TV no good.
