Turbocharged

Don't diss B movies. They are really good. Consider the gory Japanese ones like Machinegirl and Robo Geisha.

I can remember, there is this one I like from the 1980s from US of A called, Frankenwhore.

Another super B grade movie is "DNA"!! in the mid 90s!

If you are tried of watch "predator", "aliens", "anaconda" and "Rambo" seperately and want to catch all in 1 movie...this is the show!!

The effect of the helicopter crash is SPECTACULAR!! considering a mid 90s movie.

Shiok. Must watch. Don't watch it with your female counterparts though. I heard a gal crying and the couple walked out in the middle of the show. [laugh]

Looks fierce bro.... will we have a car named after it, Ferrari Piranha perhaps....? [grin]

actually piranha can rear at home in fish tank one. it is available for sale from aquarium. but i think is the domestic kind, without teeth one. the teeth machiam like a saw.

u mean the red belly pacu. It looks like a piranha... but eats cabbages and shits a lot

last time there was rumour that xiao gui lin the lake below the water fall had piranhas, donno how true.

Not too long ago, there were some aquariums openly selling the banned piranhas. Many curious folks bought them home. Unlike the Oscars (a tilapia-looking type of freshwater predator but with nicer, darker colour patterns), these were more ferocious & need a steady diet of shrimps or meat. Due to the high maintenance & the fact that they created a lot of waste, some lost interest & gave up rearing them.

Problem was the way they gave them up.

Some simply flush the fishes down the toilet.

Others, well, were more compassionate & dump them some where....

The authorities later got wind of the piranha selling & clamped the sale down.

By then, there was no way to verify how many of these fishes were sold.

And how many were released.

Into the wild...

i heard that there's a healthy population in macritchie, i heard only.

but there are huge pacus in macritchie, so its likely that they can survive and breed if people released them. BUT, macritchie is huge, for any chance of breeding, one must release at least a few, 5 or more, they're schooling fish and if they're alone, they'll stress out and die.

and believe it or not, those neon tetras and cardinal tetras, they have the same horrible teeth as the piranhas, just that, they're too small to do anything.
