Benjamin00000 1st Gear November 13, 2010 Author Share November 13, 2010 you guys are very helpful , btw the police came & I think they manage to get the owner to off the alarm. I think the owner must be deaf not to hear the alarm & still have the cheek to park at double yellow line.

Tourdefrance Neutral Newbie December 23, 2010 Share December 23, 2010 Yah, it is extremely irritating especially if your unit is near the car park. Most of the aftermarket alarms have shock alarm triggering function. Although the objective is to ward off car thieves when they are doing something drastic like forcing the door, etc, the setback is that some of the alarm systems are way too sensitive. With the existing raining season with lots of thunder, there will be more chance of alarm triggering off in the middle of the night without the car owners knowing. Deactivate this function if you can and I am now trying to figure out how.

Civic6656 1st Gear December 23, 2010 Share December 23, 2010 You know why the owners can't be bothered to check out if the alarm is from their car? Because, most sirens sounds the same especially the same make! The owner must be thinking...cannot be my car lah. That defeats the purpose of installing car alarms right? HAHA... Unless LTA impose all car alarm sirens to read out the license plate number! SJX1234X Alarm Activated! SJX1234X Alarm Activated! SJX1234X Alarm Activated! Unfair 3rd Gear December 23, 2010 Share December 23, 2010 Live and let Live. Staying in such close proximities in SG, just learn to bear with these things. Its not as if the owner purposely want to disturb people...
